Posted by thecatcanwait on March 30, 2008

Soldiered on like a good ‘un.

Toil in the soil

Posted by thecatcanwait on March 29, 2008

So i dug and dug.

For hours and hours. This is all i could do:

The forecasted “heavy rain” came. Slushed down by the whirly wind.

I looked like a waterlogged dog. Felt like a drowned rat.

Rain dripped down the crack of my bottie and into my mud-caked boots.

Time to call it a day.

A little square of sludgy brown porridge.

Doesn’t look like much.

But it’s a start.

Now lets get into the warm.

Porge has lit the fire, made some soup.

The place to dig

Posted by thecatcanwait on March 28, 2008

Thats where its gonna be - if it stops bleedin raining

I’m gonna be digging there in a minute.

If it stops bleedin raining.

What am i meant to be digging again?

Er, yeah that’s right -

A swimming pool.

Well done Porge for battening down the hatches.

To stop the patch getting wet on see.

She used about 500 screwdrivers.
